Family, Session 2 of the Remote Work Workshop Phase VI is here!
This time, we’re talking about turning your transferable skills into remote work opportunities.
We all carry skills from our studies, jobs, and professional experiences that hold significant remote work potential …. we just haven’t discovered it yet.
In this session, we will audit our academic and job experiences for transferable skills that can be turned into remote work. We’ll start by defining what transferable skills for remote work are and then take a guided journey to understand how such skills can be turned into real remote opportunities. This is not a session you want to miss.
For those who joined Session 1 you know we’re just ¼ way into this journey. Phase VI of the Remote Work Workshop is all about exploring four of the most actionable paths into remote work.
By the end, you’ll have explored several options, weighed them carefully, and chosen the one that works best for you. That’s why we’re only getting started, and I can’t wait to keep building with you.
And I’ll also remind you that all of you who joined Session 1 promised to bring along one person you believe can benefit from this workshop, and I trust you’ll keep that promise.
And for anyone joining us for the first time, you are most welcome. The first session was recorded and will soon be up on the Baobab YouTube Channel, so you’ll be able to catch up with the rest.
We are also continuing our search for one individual who will receive 6 months of 1-on-1 mentorship with me.
After Session 1, we compiled the scores from the first test. At the end of Session 2, there will be another test, and the scores will be combined with those from Session 1 and future sessions in this phase.
That’s why those who attended Session 1 should join Session 2 because every attendance and test completed increases your chances of emerging as the overall winner.
Through these workshops, our goal is to raise an army of young people thriving in remote work. Anyone who has ever desired to work remotely is welcome to join us.
Session 2 will take place on September 26th at 5 PM GMT. As always, we will have live French interpretation so our French-speaking friends can participate fully.
